Portfolio Procurement are looking to recruit an experienced Fresh Produce Senior Buyer/Category Manager. This is a 15 Month fixed term contract that comes with excellent benefits including Hybrid working (2 days in office per week), 25 days holiday, plus many other flexible benefits. Primary Responsibilities: * Source fresh produce and negotiate prices across all fruit categories * Set the strategic direction of the product range and drive the sourcing of customer produce * Evolve supply base to keep up with the changing produce landscape * Lead regular supplier reviews and manage the performance of our supply * Support Sourcing team, providing guidance, coaching and support to your team. Experience : * Experienced Fruit & Vegetable Buyer * Strong understanding of local and international fresh produce supply chains * Background of analysing market and customer trends to drive change * Supplier or customer management 48915JEINDPRO
