Portfolio Payroll are supporting a public sector client in Liverpool, seeking a Payroll Technical Specialist to join their team on a temporary basis for 9 months. The reason for the role is due to an exciting new project within the business, requiring additional support within the payroll department, and across the wider business modules. The salary range is between £45,000 and £55,000, and this can be done on an hourly rate or contractual basis.The project is due to last around 9 months, with possibility of a further 9 months with Phase 2 of the project going live in September.You will be required to come in to the office for a minimum of 2 days each week.Key experience for the role includes; * End to end payroll processes, including the payroll & finance integrations e.g. costing, General ledgers, pay element mapping to finance accounts * Differences in employee structure and cost centre structures * Credits & Debits * Bacs interfaces * Testing end to end payroll processes * Knowledge of Oracle ERP preferrable * Experience of working to project timescales, plans, cut-over and implementation.
